2017 SiX Legislator Conference: Supporter Track

OCTOBER 8-10, 2017

OMNI SHOREHAM HOTEL

WASHINGTON, D.C.

This October, join us in D.C. for the year’s largest national gathering of progressive state legislators!

Each year, the State Innovation Exchange (SiX) conference brings together lawmakers from all 50 states who share a vision for our country: a thriving middle class, a stronger democracy with more transparency in our government, greater protections for our environment, and safeguards for our civil rights and liberties. Today, that vision is under attack by the White House, in Congress, and in statehouses across the nation.  The SiX conference is a critical venue for the progressive movement to organize and prepare state lawmakers to defend and advance our values for the 2018 legislative session—and beyond.

Over this three-day conference, participants can expect to hear from policy experts, media personalities, and national progressive leaders and influencers—including a VIP briefing exclusive to the Supporter Track that will feature a discussion with special guests on the 2017 and 2018 state races.

Hotel

Due to increased demand for our conference by legislators, we no longer have lodging space available for non-legislator attendees at the conference venue, the Omni Shoreham Hotel.  Alternatively for your convenience, we have reserved a room block across the street from the Omni Shoreham Hotel at the Marriott Wardman Park for non-legislator attendees who would like accommodations close to the conference venue (approximately a 5-minute walk).  The hotel reservation will be at your own expense, at a discounted rate of $255.00 per evening.

Booking process:

Attendees who would like hotel accommodations near the conference venue at the Marriott Wardman Park can submit their request when they register for the conference.  Any questions about the conference hotel reservations and policy can be submitted to amy@stateinnovation.org.
