Amy Johnson (she/her) is SiX’s Development Director. In this work she leads SiX’s fundraising and development priorities in partnership with senior leadership. She has been with SiX since 2017, serving in a myriad of roles that helped build SiX’s internal infrastructure to support a strong and growing organization. As a development professional, she has ensured the organization has surpassed revenue targets annually and supported the organization to double its budget over three years.
Prior to joining SiX, Amy spent multiple sessions as a Legislative Aide in the Colorado House of Representatives as the only staff member for a caucus leader, serving the community of Pueblo, Colorado. In this work, she gained first-hand knowledge of the challenges and opportunities of state-level policy and governance. Amy has a degree in Women and Gender Studies and a certificate in Global Gender and Sexuality Studies from the University of Colorado. She and her rescue pup are based in Denver.
