Erin Cassel is a strategist and advocate serving as the Chief of Staff to Georgia State Senator Kim Jackson and as the Senior Associate, Programs for State Innovation Exchange (SiX). In her dual roles, she manages high-level legislative operations in Georgia while supporting SiX’s national mission to strengthen progressive state leadership.
A former professional cellist and educator with degrees from the University of Louisville and Georgia State University, Erin’s career is defined by a pivot toward social justice. She previously developed community-interfacing software for racial justice initiatives and unified siloed advocacy groups at All Saints' Episcopal Church. Today, she leverages her background in arts and organizing to bridge the gap between community needs and legislative action.
